A friend of mine and I were talking about this very same concept a while ago, but quite honestly had no idea how to go about capturing that scent. There is no smell more interesting or comforting or exciting than the smell of a book or a magazine or even a newspaper. The associations I have with printed material have such a stronghold on what I believe in that the scent conjures up these feeling of peace. It is a sort of ambivalence towards digital culture -great for routine work and efficiency, but at the end of the day, nothing replaces a book. Well done Steidl.
